Merriot Square

Merrion Square Park, Merrion Square W, Dublin, Co. Dublin City, Ireland

Description:

Marriot Square is a kind of art square, where more than 200 artists exhibit in the open air all year round. It is located next to the square of the same name, in which you can see a statue of Oscar Wilde lying on a rock.

For the past 26 years, Merriot Square has turned into a street gallery on a Sunday. Every year new creators appear here, so the works and artists at the exhibition are constantly changing.

Here you can meet a large number of talented people, talk with them on art topics, and friendly artists will be happy to tell you about their works, which, incidentally, you can buy here. Among the paintings you can see works made in the traditional classical style, and avant-garde works of art.

If you love painting, Merriot Square is the place to go to enjoy real art. In addition, if you draw yourself, then here you will have the opportunity to participate in the exhibition and show your work.
