Evening Alicante and flamenco performance
Description:
At night, the city looks very different - colorful fountains, fabulous trees of romantic gardens and parks and amazing lighting of buildings, as if transforming the city.
The Esplanade promenade is a great place for an evening promenade. You can walk along a wide alley, paved with marble tiles and planted with palm trees, among the numerous shops and restaurants and admire the opening views of the city and port. Or just sit on the terrace of a cafe or restaurant and enjoy the views and coolness of a summer evening.
Take the elevator to the Santa Barbara Fortress. At sunset, there are beautiful views from here. Lights are lit in the city, the glare of which plays in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the surrounding mountains are painted with a divine color.
Descending from the top we will get to the colorful quarter of Santa Cruz and admire the colorful illumination of Mount Benicantil, then go down to the old town to St. Nicholas Cathedral and the Church of Satan Maria.
At the end of the walk, we can look at one of the dozens of bars or cafes, try the famous Spanish tapas with a glass of wine or beer. Find out what the locals eat and drink.
For ice cream lovers, there is a stop in one of the best ice cream shops in the city. (optional)
On this walk, I will tell you about the main attractions of the city and show you the bars and cafes worth visiting.
Spain and flamenco are inseparable from each other. Bright dresses of dancers, expression of the dancer, selfless singing and playing the guitar will not leave indifferent any viewer. It is necessary to watch flamenco not in the theater hall, but in a tavern or bar, drinking wine and patting to the beat of music.
At the end of the walk we will see flamenco in one of the best tablao (the so-called cafe or bar equipped with a special flamenco stage) in Alicante.
Attention. Due to the fact that the tablao, in which we go, is very popular, it is necessary to pre-book a table. Book in advance - at least 2 working days. You don't have to pay.
The tour is held on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
