Montserrat, history and cava!

Beautiful summer trip for the whole day, during which we will visit two of the most interesting places in Catalonia.

We will start our tour with a visit to the monastery and the stunning beauty of the Montserrat mountain range.
There we will enjoy beautiful landscapes and stories about the monastery, touch the local shrine - the Black Madonna, make a wish, climb the pilgrimage to the Cross of St. Michael, listen to the angelic voices of the children's choir Escolania (if our visit coincides with the schedule of the performance of the boys' choir). Try cheeses, honey, dried fruit products from the farmer's market.

Then we will head to the wine region of Penedes, where the cellars of the most interesting family winery are located. The winery is interesting, first of all, because throughout its existence, grapes are grown exclusively organically.
The farm was founded in the distant 19th century. Of course, much has changed in more than 200 years, but as before, a small batch of wine is made by hand, ranging from grape harvesting to labeling and bottle packaging. In its place remained the old manor, which the locals call “masia”.

For each type of tasting, cheese and sausage cutting, olives, crackers are served.

Between excursions, at your request, there is a stop for lunch in a rural restaurant with traditional Catalan cuisine. The cost of a complex lunch, including a choice of: first, second, dessert and drinks, including wine.
