For 285 years of its history, the Bodegas Alvear wine company has managed to preserve the features of the family enterprise. Today, the company belongs to the eighth generation. Each generation has contributed to the technical modernization of the enterprise and the preservation of the architecture of the family nest. Alvear is one of the most prestigious Andalusian wine companies recognized worldwide. The company owns extensive vineyards on the most famous wine-growing lands of Sierra de Montilla and Moriles (Cordoba). Wine like "El Fino", "Amontillados", Olorosos and Pedro Jiménez are known all over the world.

Duration of visit 1 hour 30 minutes.
If you wish, after the visit, you can have lunch in the restaurant “Las Camachas” near the enterprise, where you can taste local dishes. Among the best dishes are salmorejo, el flamenquín, beans with eggplant and blood sausage, anchovies in crimson jam, goat cheese with jasmine jam, cream yogurt with candied figs, Cordoba cake.
