Monastery of San Lorenzo El Escorial

I read about this place before my trip. El Escorial was one of three cities to be visited from Madrid. I think my story will be useful for individual travelers. El Escorial from Madrid can be reached by commuter train from Sol metro station, a round trip cost of 7.9 euros. Travel time is a little over 1 hour. On the spot from the station by bus 1.3 euros one way. The monastery-palace is very beautiful, beautiful inner chambers, interesting expositions. It's a pity you can't take pictures, because words are hard to describe all the splendor. There is also a pantheon in which almost all Spanish Monarti and their families are buried. Before the trip, I read a lot about the history of this monastery-palace, so I did not have a guide.
