The skyscraper “Spain”, built in 1953, takes the 8th place among the skyscrapers of Madrid.
The skyscraper, designed by Otamendi architects, is 117 meters high and has 26 floors. Externally, it is very similar to one of the Moscow high-rise buildings. At the same time, the main distinguishing feature of its architectural ensemble is that different parts of the construction of the building have a different number of floors.
Until 2006, the building housed a hotel and a shopping center, and now it is in the process of restoration.
