Excursion to the Wine Factory with wine tasting, Rhonda
Description:
Since Roman times, the area near the town of Ronda was considered favorable for winemaking due to its climate. About an hour drive along a picturesque mountain road north of Marbella and we are in Ronda, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. The famous New Bridge and the Bullfighting Arena are the main symbols of the city.
The Spanish word "bodega" means a cellar or cellar, also called wine cellars or the whole cycle - vineyards, the winery itself and a place for wine tasting. We are heading north from Ronda, towards Seville, to Bodega, Joaquin Fernandez. This is a family business, the owner is called Huaquín Fernández, and the wine that is produced here is environmentally friendly, that is, preservatives are not used in its production.
We are shown a vineyard, the room where the production itself is located, they talk about the process of making wine and show the finished product - bottles with a healing drink.
Then we go to a special area where wine tasting is held, here you can organize a lunch - traditional rural Spanish food.
About 15 minutes from Ronda, an hour and 20 minutes from Marbella, and an hour and a half from Malaga.
