Gibraltar is the last colony in Europe!
Description:
Meeting with a group on the Spanish side at the border post in La Linea. After passport control at the border, we get into a pre-ordered mini-jeep and go to the very top of the Great Europe Point Rock of Gibraltar, which offers an extraordinary view of the Strait of Gibraltar. After that, we will visit the cave of St. Michael with an underground lake, the casemates of Great Sieg - defensive structures built inside the Gibraltar Rock of the XVIII century, when Spanish-French troops tried to recapture Gibraltar from the British. The next stop is Ape Den Park, where the only wild monkeys in Europe live! The tour will end on the famous Main Street, which is full of shops and typical pubs. If we decide to return to Spain on foot (only 20 minutes from Main Street), we will cross the runway of the Gibraltar airfield, which is also a road.
