Sightseeing tour in Seville

Description:

Seville, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the third most visited city in Spain, after Barcelona and Madrid. The Cathedral of the city, the largest in Spain and the third largest in Europe, amazes with its volume and grandeur. Here, in the Cathedral, is the burial of Christopher Columbus. A few tens of meters from the Cathedral is the Alcázar - the active residence of King Felipe VI of Spain, and a little further the so-called Indian Archive, the basis of which was the library of Columbus.

We walk through the streets of the Santa Cruz area and enter the Murillo Gardens, named after the outstanding Seville artist. Right in front of us is the University of the city, located in the building of the former tobacco factory. It was here that the actions described in the opera Carmen, according to the work of Prosper Mérime, took place. Near the University is the hotel "Alfonso XIII", one of the most beautiful buildings in Seville.

The Maria Luisa Park is directly adjacent to the Plaza de España complex, built to host the 1929 Spanish-speaking exhibition. Perhaps one of the largest in Spain, built in the shape of a horseshoe, the Square impresses with its size and beauty.

Drive time from Marbella, two hours and 40 minutes, from Malaga, two hours and 20 minutes.
