Seville is a fairy tale, of course!
Description:
If we go to Seville from Cadiz, the program will include a sightseeing tour of the oldest city in Europe with a photo-stop on the beach of La Caleta, where in 1100 BC the Phoenicians founded their first port. In ancient times, Cadiz was an island, today only a narrow, 9 km isthmus connects it with the remaining Spain! On the way to Seville, we will learn about the history and traditions of this richest region, talk about horse racing, about “Toro Bravo” and flamenco, whose origins are from here – from Andalusia!
During the tour of Seville we will see the Maestrans Arena, the Golden Tower of the XIII century, which is today one of the symbols of Seville and, of course, the Square of Spain! This urban ensemble was built in anticipation of the 1929 Spanish-Amenican exhibition. The Alcázar of Seville is the oldest active royal palace in Europe! Let’s not forget the romantic gardens. Further in the program - the Cathedral - the third largest in the world and of the Gothic and the largest! Built on the site of the main mosque, its architectural appearance harmoniously combines five architectural styles: Almohade, Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance and Barroco. Christopher Columbus is also buried here. Being in Seville, you can not help walking around the Santa Cruz quarter, once a Jewish ghetto, with its typical narrow streets, courtyards and flower squares. Literally at every step - shops and restaurants, where it is so difficult to resist the temptation not to look.
