The beginning of the tour is in the city center, on the square of Neptune with the original fountain of the god of the sea (Jean de Boulogne, 16th century). A story about the history of the city and its features.
The symbol of the city is the falling towers (with a possible rise to the top for 4 euros), a walk through the university quarter where student life is boiling, (it is possible to visit university museums - natural science and technical collections) and a walk through the artists' quarter (the art museum of Italian painting, with masterpieces by Raphael, Perugino, the Carracci brothers, etc.). The building of the Bologna City Theatre (18th century), with a possible evening program (separately).
Bologna is distinguished by its unpredictability. Here the old quarter of the Ghetto has been preserved, along the streets of which it is pleasant to wander away from the hustle and bustle, there is a hidden water artery – a canal where old mills stood and laundry was rinsed. You will also see the medieval towers hidden among the houses.
On the square near the old church of the patron of students you can taste local wines, cheeses and smoked goods. Inspection of some of the fortress gates of the city, perfectly preserved despite the lively traffic.
The walk ends at the huge Gothic brick church of San Francesco, near which the evening life and trade boils. Independence Street is a shopping district.
