Santa Maria del Fiore - the name sounds like poetry. It was the largest cathedral until the Pope in Rome commissioned Michelangelo to surpass the Florentine cathedral in size. The first stone of the Florentine was laid in 1296, built a cathedral in the form of pride and power of the Republic, openwork, lined with marble because only we could afford such splendor.
During this thematic tour, we will discover all the secrets of the structure of this cathedral, its dome, admire the mosaics of the Baptistery and all the masterpieces of art that were created to increase the surprise of our past and present guests.
The price includes:
3-hour excursion to the Dome Cathedral, the Baptistery of St. John the Baptist and the Museum of the Dome Cathedral.
Entrance ticket is not included, costs 15 euros, is valid for 48 hours and gives the opportunity to climb the dome and the bell tower.
