Via Roma, 25, 09124 Cagliari, Italy
Description:
The Palace of the Regional Council of Sardinia is housed in an elegant six-story building built in 1988. It is part of an administrative complex consisting of three buildings harmoniously combined with each other.
The construction is a complex structure of reinforced concrete and tinted glass, the area of which is 3200 square meters. Under the arcades of the palace there are many sculptures and drawings symbolizing the unity of the government and people of Sardinia. The spacious foyer of the building is lined with pastel tones marble and is made in a strict classical style. Several grand staircases connect it to conference rooms and office spaces. A distinctive feature of the building are granite floors.
Access to the building of the Regional Council is possible only during concerts upon prior request for organized tour groups. The building is located on a picturesque embankment, which offers a beautiful panorama of the Mediterranean Sea.
