Capri impresses with its beauty, luxury and at the same time a simple life.
A few minutes before the boat docks at the port of Marina Grande, you can already admire the beauty of this island: its outlines, rugged vegetation, bright colors. Small shops, cafes and restaurants right by the sea immediately make you want to become the main characters of the island. And it is impossible not to lose your clothes and swim in clear and clean water.

The most beautiful panorama of the island? Of course, the one you can admire from the highest point 589 meters above sea level is Monte Solaro, climbing there by cable car.
The most unusual villa where the Egyptian Sphinx grants wishes? Villa San Michele, built by Swedish medic Axel Munte on one of the panoramic points of the island. My house should be open to the wind and the sun and to the voice of the sea, like a Greek temple. And light, light, light everywhere!

The most beautiful road on the island? This road can be seen from the small park "Gardens of Augustus". Conceived by German steelmaker Friedrich Alfred Krupp and dubbed the Via Krupp, it will become “a symbol of natural beauty and eternal freedom.”
The smallest perfume factory in Italy? Legend says that in 1380 the father of the Cartesian monastery on Capri, waiting for the arrival of Queen Giovanna d’Anjou, prepared beautiful bouquets of flowers, which he placed everywhere in the monastery. These flowers stood for three days, and when they were about to be thrown away, the monks discovered that the water had acquired a very subtle pleasant but unknown aroma. Water was attributed to the alchemist, who identified the origin of the fragrance as Garofilium silvestre caprese. The story will continue in the XX century with the appearance of the perfume factory "Cartuzia".
