Torre del Orso beach in Melendugno is a favorite beach of locals. It is a long beach with soft white sand, but there are also rocky stretches of coastline, with numerous grottoes and gorges.
The beach is located between two cliffs and is bordered by low dunes with delightful green pine groves through which the Brunese stream runs. This beautiful coast has a crescent shape and a length of about 1 kilometer.
The beach of Torre del Orso is very popular with surfers, especially on windy days.
Not far from the shore rise cliffs and cliffs of impressive beauty, including two almost identical, adjacent cliffs called "Two Sisters".
