Torre Chianka Beach Porto Cesareo

Strada Casalabate Frigole S. Cataldo, 73100 Lecce Le

Description:

Torre Chianka Beach Porto Cesareo is located near the seaside district of Torre Lapillo, a former fishing village built around a coastal tower of the XVI century, erected at the behest of Charles V to protect against invasions of the Saracens.

It is a beautiful beach with soft white sand and a long coastline that has several rocky areas and is bordered by dunes and dense bush vegetation. The sea in this area is very beautiful, turquoise color, with clean and very clear water. The bottom is sandy and hollow.

The sea near the beach is not very deep, in some places there are several shallows. Many parts of the coast are free, others are equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas and offer a wide range of tourist services. The beach is often crowded during the hot season (late July – August).
