Church of Saints Ambrosia and Andrew

The Church of Jesus, or rather the Church of Saints Ambrose and Andrew, is located in the center of Genoa on Piazza Matteotti. The first church on this site was built after the Bishop of Milan moved to Genoa, who was forced to leave the city as a result of his oppression by the Lombards. This happened in 569, after which Bishop Onorato Castiglioni settled near this place.
