Pinocchio - in the footsteps of a completely different fairy tale for children

We all remember the story of the funny prankster Buratino, but Pinocchio is a completely different tale and we will follow in its footsteps.

Who wouldn’t want to experience the adventures of a restless wooden boy as a child? What kid wouldn’t want to experience this magic story? Meet Buratino and all the characters of this most popular book in the world, translated into 87 languages!

Did you know that Buratino is from Italy? When Tolstoy himself was a little boy, he really liked the fairy tale of the Italian writer Carlo Collodi Pinocchio, or the adventures of a wooden doll. And so, when Tolstoy grew up and became an adult, he decided to tell the children this tale, but in a different way, in his own way.

So get ready for unexpected adventures based on the book, as the Italian fairy tale is very different from our story of Buratino.

Our journey dedicated to the wooden man will begin in a small, as if stuck to the rock cluster of houses, the town of Collody. Where there was a comorca mastro Gipetto, in which he cut a wooden doll, where the theater came and where there was a school in which he did not reach and his adventures began. We will look at the Pinocchio Museum, the restaurant “Red Cancer” (nell’Osteria del Gambero Rosso), the puppet theater for the performance. We will get to the Land of Fools, where in the Field of Wonders, we will certainly check the buried five gold ones. Perhaps the tree has grown enough?

And in the land of entertainment, where you can easily play and turn into donkeys. Just like Pinocchio, we will visit the belly of a huge fish - a whale and get out alive and unharmed. We will ride on the Venetian carousels of the XVIII century, look into the workshop for the manufacture of puppets and the Laboratory of Words and Figures and the park of adventure. On this day, you kids, will have to work hard participating in the game - a quiz, guessing riddles and crossword puzzles.

Near Pinocchio Park is Villa Garzoni with a grandiose park and a real "House of Butterflies". We will visit this unique tropical greenhouse made of stone and crystal, in which large colored butterflies free their wings from pupae every day and freely fly, saturate and reproduce. If you are not tired, we will look at the Hesperidarium (lemonarium) a real citrus paradise or the Bonsai Dwarf Tree Museum - a rare collection of olive, cypress and coniferous trees in miniature. And maybe we can see the Pinocchio Tree.

• At the Picocchio Park ticket office: If you arrive by car as soon as you see the tallest buratino in the world, look left, find parking.
