The Catholic Church of St. Alexander in Zebedia is located in the historic center of Milan. The church was built at the end of the XVI century in honor of the warrior-martyr from Bergamo Alexander of Bergama. The construction of a Baroque church with two side bell towers began in 1601. A clock was installed on one of the bell towers, and a bell was mounted on the other in 1643. The facade of the temple is richly decorated with bas-reliefs. Inside, the central hall of the church is separated from the two side naves by large columns. The chair in the central hall, from which sermons are read, is decorated with precious stones. In the temple there are famous paintings and frescoes by artists Camillo Procaccini and Daniele Crespi, the end of the XVI - the beginning of the XVII centuries.
