Carmini Palace

Passaggio Duomo, 20122 Milano, Italy

Description:

The Palace of Carminati is one of the attractions of the central square of Milan - the Duomo. In the XX century, the building was considered the main symbol of the economic growth of the city, and was decorated with bright neon signs.

The first signs of advertising appeared on the building of Carminati Palace in 1915, before London's Piccadilly Street. Even then, bright signs symbolized the secular Milan. And in the 1960s, they were particularly colorful, reminiscent of New York. Duomo Square and billboards on the facade of the palace are immortalized in numerous films, poems were written about them.

Today, in the premises of the Palace of Carminati there are offices of local companies and boutiques of famous Italian brands. The historic building is equipped with an elevator, and on the 3rd floor there are luxury apartments overlooking the famous central square of Milan and the cathedral.
