Boscoinchitta Park

Western Milan, Italy

Description:

Boscoinchitta Park is one of the largest public parks in Milan, covering an area of more than 110 hectares. The park is located in the western outskirts of the city and attracts many tourists.

The name "Boskoinchitta" in Russian means "urban forest". This park was opened in 1974. Since its foundation, Boscoinchitta has been under the auspices of the non-profit organization Italia Nostra, which is dedicated to the preservation of the cultural and natural heritage of Italy. In the first years, the area of the park was only 35 hectares, but over time the boundaries of the green zone expanded.

Boscoinchitta Park is extraordinarily beautiful. The nature here is surprisingly diverse - on the territory you can find dense forests and spacious meadows, rivers, a small pond and even several ancient farmhouses, preserved since the Middle Ages. In one of these houses is the office of the Park administration.
