Sforza Castle
Castello Sforzesco, 20121 Milan, Italy 110 m C
Description:
Sforza Castle is familiar to every Russian tourist. The fact is that the castle is the prototype of the Moscow Kremlin - the same architects from Milan worked on both projects. Most nostalgia is caused by the shape of the towers and the crown of the crowning walls of the teeth.
The construction of the Sforza Castle began in 1368 and was completed at the end of the 15th century. During this time, the castle has changed many owners. Subsequently, the castle repeatedly participated in the battles. A remarkable fact - in April 1799, during the revolutionary wars, the castle was taken by the commander A. V. Suvorov, after which it temporarily passed into the possession of the Russian Empire.
Today, the Sforza Castle is a national museum. There are many interesting exhibits in the castle, one of them is Michelangelo’s last sculpture.
