Milan

Milan Malpensa Airport

Description:

Although there are three major airports in the vicinity of Milan, if you fly from abroad, you will most likely land in Malpensa. The beautiful modern airport accounts for a large share of foreign scheduled and charter flights.

Malpensa Airport is the second largest in Italy and in terms of passenger traffic keeps pace with the country's largest airport named after Leonardo da Vinci in Rome. Although Malpensa Airport is located almost 50 kilometers from the city, thanks to the developed transport infrastructure, getting from it to the center of Milan is not a problem.

The airport receives and sends planes around the clock, so the public transport connecting it to Milan works the same way. For example, you can take the Malpensa Express train, which takes 40-50 minutes from the airport to the city. Trains run around the clock 7 days a week (at night the traffic interval increases).

By bus from the airport you can get not only to Milan, but also to many other points on the map of Italy. The total number of destinations is about 20, including Turin, Genoa, Bergamo, Verona. Directly to Milan from Malpensa there are several routes. The Malpensa Shuttle departs from Terminal I between 5.00am and midnight 2-3 times an hour. There are also flights at night, although they are much less frequent.
