Valley of Motors - Legends and Myths

Description:

Elegance, uniqueness and tradition are what distinguishes Made in Italo in the world, and it is no coincidence that cars and motos made in Italy are a perfect example of this.

Thanks to the work of the great designers who created and continue to create the only copies of the automotive dream, the whole world knows and admires Italy, but not many people know their entertaining, full of surprises and sharp turns.

Our region has so far been known only for its seaside tourism on the Adriatic coast and the production of Parmesan cheese and Parma ham. Only narrow specialists know that this land is the birthplace of Italian motorsport and motorcycle racing. What Russian doesn’t like to drive fast? If this famous aphorism of Nikolai Gogol is also about you, we would like to offer you an unforgettable journey through the Valley of Motors with joy and love for this amazing land. As among fans of new technologies is famous Silicon Valley in California, and among fans of speed and sports cars there are those who would not know about the Valley of Motors: here are located factories and workshops of the most prestigious cars in the world. The valley stretches on the picturesque plains of the Emilia-Romagna region, and the unspoken capital of it is the province of Modena.

Emilia-Romagna is the birthplace of the Italian automotive industry. It’s not just an image of speech, but a perfect blend of history and passion. Names like Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini represent the face of Italy in the world. And Maranello, Fiorano, Misano and Imola – local race tracks, formed the history of auto and motor racing. Everything here revolves around the world of motorsport and Motorvalley is the link between two parts of our region: Emilia and Romagna. On both sides of the Via Emilia (the main historical route that crosses the region from south to north), twelve private collections of rare cars and motorcycles and sixteen museums of auto and motorcycle themes, each with its own characteristics, tell more than 100 years of the history of this passion for motors and make our region unique.
