Vesuvius
Description:
“It will be someday, with someone and certainly not with me,” says each of the residents of the slopes of Mount Vesuvius.
Today, about 800,000 people inhabit the slopes of the volcano, attracting people with their fertility for thousands of years. The most famous of the eruptions was in 79 A.D., when 10 cities perished, according to Pliny the Elder, along with Pompeii.
Why do they still live here? What exactly attracts this area? In order to answer these and many other questions, I advise you to climb with me to the top of it, from where you can see the entire Gulf of Naples. Its fabulous beauty has attracted artists and writers for centuries. Today in every museum of world importance there are paintings with views of Vesuvius and Naples, which were so loved to depict the travelers of the "Grand Tour" in the XVIII and XIX centuries.
This trip correlates well with a trip to Pompeii, Herculaneum or Stabia.
