Pompeii's Old Town

Description:

The old town is really big, well developed and thought out. In the central part we see the Forum, the square that accommodated the entire population of the city, surrounded by columns. Nearby are various buildings and secondary squares. The Grand Theatre is located on a hillside and the natural rise is used for rows with seats. The Small Theatre is well preserved. There are many temples in Pompeii, some badly destroyed. The huge Amphitheater, considered the first, has no basements, and the overall design is different from its prototype in Rome, which I wrote about earlier. Roman Colosseum Baths for swimming were built, the construction of the pool began.
