Via Daniele Manin Street

Italy, Veneto, Padua

Description:

Via Daniele Manin is perpendicular to Padua’s famous Roman Via Roma. But here you can find interesting places.

Along the street there are two squares - Grass Square and Fruit Square, Piazza delle Erbe or Piazza dei Frutti respectively. Shared by the Palazzo della Ragione or the Palace of Prudence, built for the city court in 1172, in 1420 it was completely rebuilt. Various exhibitions, both artistic and scientific, are held here. There is a grocery market on the lower floors of the palace, where you can buy local cheeses and meat products. And on Piazza dei Frutti - vegetables, fruits, honey and other products.
