Port of Positano
Description:
Like many other resorts of the Amalfi Riviera, Positano has been known since Roman times. According to legend, it was founded by the god of the sea Neptune (Poseidon) as a sign of love for the nymph Pasitee.
In Positano there are many restaurants, bars, boutiques, jewelry salons, ceramics shops.
There is a small port full of fishing boats. In the early morning you can buy fresh fish from the morning catch. And in the afternoon, from the city pier, go to Sorrento, Capri, Salerno or Amalfi.
