Rimini

Dolphinarium

Tagliolo Monferrato, Italia

Description:

On Riviera there are three dolphinariums popular among Europeans: in Cattolica, in Ricción and in Rimini. The largest is in Rimini. Here, several times a day, colorful theatrical performances are held with the participation of dolphins and other inhabitants of the sea. At the end of the show, you can go down to the basement, where you can see dolphins in a natural underwater environment, as well as view thematic exhibitions. The staff of the dolphinarium will tell in detail how river and marine ecosystems inhabited by numerous species of fish are reproduced in the world. You can also see dolphin skeletons and skulls in a special area.

A separate section is devoted to mollusks formed by the sea over the centuries. Among them are mollusks with shells of huge sizes, small sea urchins, crabs with long legs. The whole exhibition is devoted to the secrets of cetaceans, created to study the evolution of whales and dolphins, the secrets of their worlds and other important characteristics.
