Milazzo, once a major port city, is now a quiet resort. But it is the church of San Francesco di Paola that witnesses the turbulent past of the city, whose geographical location simply obliged it to be a participant in various kinds and scale of military operations. In its walls stuck a projectile fired from the enemy ship in one of the ancient battles. And now silently reminds of the past, being a kind of bait for tourists.
