Resistance Park

Viale Bruno Buozzi, Urbino, Italy

Description:

Park with a rather pathetic name Resistance Park is a wonderful place. It was opened in 1975 on the place where the monks of the Carmelite monastery cultivated the land in ancient times. To put it simply, they had a garden in this place. It got its name in memory of the Resistance movement, on the anniversary of which the park was opened.

Located on the ramparts of an ancient fortress, the park is a cozy, quiet and peaceful place, ideal for walking and leisurely rest. And it has at least two big pluses: it is sparsely crowded and from the hills open stunning views of the surrounding area.
