Venice is one of the most romantic cities in the world, connected by over 400 bridges. Every year in February, the famous Venetian Carnival takes place here, which calculates its history since 1094, since then it has invariably lasted 10 days (from 6.02 to 16.02).
The historic center of the city is divided into six blocks, but Venice extends beyond these areas to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. The first two are world famous for glassblowing and lacemaking.
