Giusti Garden
Via Giardino Giusti, 2, 37129 Verona, Italy
Description:
The Giusti Garden is a palace and park ensemble located in Verona, Italy. The Giusti Palace was built in the XVI century, next to it in 1580, a Renaissance garden was laid out, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy. The founder of the garden and villa is Prince Agostino, a representative of the Tuscan family of Giusti. Over the centuries, the garden has been repeatedly modified.
This magnificent well-groomed garden pleases the eye with neatly trimmed trees and bushes, fountains and terraces, artificial caves, decorative plants in pots, rare flowers.
The garden is divided into two parts by large cypress alleys. In the right part there is a natural forest and a belvedere, under which there is a grotto carved above it in the tuff rock mask of a mythological creature adapted for the eruption of fire. And on the left side is the so-called "Italian garden", which has the correct geometric outlines. Here you can see four large flower beds, a fountain decorated with sculptures of dolphins, as well as statues of ancient gods. There is an opportunity to admire a small fountain of red Verona marble and a labyrinth from a hedge.
