Herzliya Airport
Description:
Herzliya Airport is located near the city of the same name.
The airport was built in 1947, when Israel was struggling for its own independence and needed many landing sites. The war ended, and the military airfield was adapted for the needs of agricultural aviation.
Today, Herzliya Airport is used for pilot training and private flights. There are no terminals and developed infrastructure - everything is adapted for flight schools and periodic reception of general aviation.
