Ramat Ha-Nadiv Park

Ramat HaNadiv, Zihron Ya'akov

Description:

Park "Ramat Ha-Nadiv" is a park that is located near the city of Zichron Yaakov in the city of Haifa.

The park is dedicated to the memory of Baron Rothschild, who is buried here with his wife Adelaide. Baron Rothschild at the end of the XIX century initiated the foundation of a dozen settlements. He bought hundreds of thousands of hectares of land.

The park is one of the few regular parks in Israel. The project, developed by the Baron, was thought out to the smallest detail. The park has alleys for people with disabilities, and it also has alleys that are specially planted with incense - for people who are able to perceive only smells.

The park is attractive for fans of garden and park art and for everyone who likes to enjoy wonderful landscapes and nature. From here there are magnificent views of the Carmel coast.
