Haifa

Turkish Bazaar

Marco Polo, Acre, Israel

Description:

In the ancient Israeli city of Acre, almost in its very center, a Turkish bazaar is cozy, in fact, a typical municipal market for these places. The bazaar was founded in the 18th century, but in the last century it was abandoned, and for many years this place was practically unvisited.

The reconstruction of the Turkish bazaar was carried out recently, the former size it, of course, did not return, but the overall atmosphere of the place was restored.

Today you can buy souvenirs and gifts for every taste, having fully felt the Eastern style inherent only in such places.

Getting there by public transport is difficult because it is poorly developed. In Haifa, tourists move most often on cars that are rented, which greatly facilitates movement, you can contact a taxi, any carrier will take you to the right place without unnecessary questions.
