Mane Katz House Museum
About the company:
The Mane Katz House Museum is an art and biographical museum whose exhibition is dedicated to the artist Mane Katz. The museum was opened in 1977, after the death of the artist, who bequeathed his property and cultural heritage to the city.
The museum building is located on Jaffa Nof Street, and from its windows offers a beautiful view of Haifa Bay and the whole city. The house for some time was the place of residence and creativity of Katz in the Haifa period of his work.
The museum’s collection includes several hundred works by Katz: watercolors, oil paintings, pastels, pencil and gouache drawings. Also here you can see an extensive collection of plaster and bronze statues, Jewish objects, antique furniture and oriental carpets, which were brought from Paris.
