Yanko-Dad Museum

ein Hod, Haifa, Israel

About the company:

The Yanko Dada Museum is located in the central part of the Ein Hod artists’ village. There are four halls in Yanko Dada, one of which represents the works of Marcel Janko, the founder of the museum center.

In 1953, an artist named Marcel Janko formed the village of Ein Hod on the slope of the peak of Carmel, and built a museum house there. The architecture of the entire settlement is similar to Arab buildings, and it touched Yanko Dada - exhibition halls dedicated to the artist.

Currently, the Marcel Janco exhibition house houses a museum, and workshops and galleries are founded in the village of Ein Hode. In Yanko-Dad, the works of not only the founder of the museum, but also other Dadists are presented. The lower hall of the gallery is dedicated to the avant-garde art of modern times. To plunge into the artistic world of Marcel Janco, you can go to his workshop - the hall is open to visitors.

It is noteworthy that the museum complex is partially equipped for people with disabilities - here everyone can become an observer of the art world. Photography is not prohibited in Yanko Dada, but admission is paid.
