Haifa Railway Station
Description:
The old railway station of Haifa is a silent symbol of a long-gone era, losing its appeal more and more every year. The Arab-Israeli conflict destroyed not only millions of human lives, but also thousands of architectural masterpieces.
Haifa Station was built by the Turks in 1904. Of course, the station immediately became the transport center of Haifa, thanks to which the city was able to develop, and people were able to get to their jobs faster.
40 years later, the land was taken from the Turks. During the Civil War, Jewish saboteurs blew up Haifa Station. Since then, the station has not been restored, and it has not received trains for half a century.
Today, Haifa Railway Station is a museum. People come here to look at buildings with unique Ottoman architecture, as well as to see ancient trains.
