Thmarim Canyon

Tmarim Canyon is an extreme tourist destination in Israel. The canyon is located in the northern part of the Judean desert. It got its name because there were a lot of date palms around.
From the top of the gorge there is a beautiful view of the Jordan Mountains and the shore of the Dead Sea. But to look at the opening beauty, you will have to overcome several climbs of different heights. They are among the most extreme and challenging, but the effort will pay off in full.
To travel to the top requires minimal climbing equipment, water and food, clothing.
The canyon can be reached by driving on Highway 90 along the Dead Sea in a northerly direction. 700 meters after the mark of 265 km to the right of the road will pass unpaved road, there you can park the car and proceed to the canyon.
