Massada Fortress
Description:
Massada Fortress is a Roman structure near the Dead Sea and the city of Arad. This fortress is considered an ancient architectural building of King Herod the Great, which contains many baths, swimming pools and a lush courtyard. Now this place is equipped for pilgrimage of newly arrived young men. Also near Massada there are museums of centuries-old artifacts discovered during excavations around the fortress and a Byzantine monastery.
You can get to the territory of the construction in two ways: from the sea along the snake path or from the city. In addition, from the main bus station in Jerusalem on Jaffa street there are buses along the Dead Sea.
