Bokor Hill Hotel

Hotel "Bokor Hill" is the center of the resort of the same name in the wilds of Cambodia. It was built by the French in the early XX century. Bokor Hill was not just a hotel, but a real administrative center with its post office, a huge number of shopping centers and even its own small church.

However, in the mid-70s of the last century, the hotel, like the resort, was destroyed by a detachment of the Khmer Rouge, who instilled fear in all residents of the country. They destroyed the hotel, took out everything valuable. During one of the bombings, Bokor Hill was badly damaged: windows were lost, stairs and walls collapsed. The hotel became completely abandoned.

Today, the ruins stand on the highest point of the country, Mount Bokor. Many tourists rush to visit its top to enjoy the beautiful view that opens from it. If you add to this the opportunity to look at the once luxurious hotel, then a walk through this area can be very impressive.
