The beauty of the Caspian: from rocks to turquoise bays

Description:

Description of the tour

A day trip along the coast of the Caspian Sea is a rich route combining rocky shores, transparent sea water, secluded coves and picturesque beaches. The tour is ideal for those who want to relax by the sea, enjoy natural landscapes and see little-known, but very beautiful places of Mangystau.

The first stop is Maykin Kurgan (43rd kilometer). This place is known for its rocky cliffs, which in places turn into shell beaches. In windless weather, the water here is so clear that even at a depth of several meters you can see the bottom of the Caspian Sea.

Further, the route continues to the Blue Bay, located on the southwestern coast of the Mangyshlak Peninsula. The bay is famous for crystal clear water and expressive rocky shores. Tourists visit both the right and left banks of the bay, and also take a walk to the famous Devil's Finger Rock, protruding into the sea and resembling a medieval tower.

The final point of the route is Lake Saura and the adjacent sandy beaches, which are often called the “Kazakhstan Maldives”. Against the background of the dried desert, green thickets of willows and rakitas, fragrant mint and the calm surface of the lake suddenly appear here. In these places you can relax, swim and enjoy the contrast of the sea and lake landscape.
