Description:
Ibyktysai: Kazakh stone lace, born of the wind and the ocean
Discover Ibyktysai - one of the most elegant and surreal canyons not only Mangystau, but the whole planet. This is a natural miracle, where wind and water carved in soft rock fantastic openwork forms, comparable to the famous Antelope Canyon, but preserved a wild, untouched soul.
Why is Ibyktysai a unique pearl for a beauty seeker?
Stone lace and play of light: Walk among walls resembling giant fossilized honeycombs, coral reefs and waves. The narrow slits at the top let in the rays of the sun that ignite these complex structures from the inside, creating a unique magic of light and shadow that changes every hour.
Wild and authentic analogue of the world miracle: Unlike popular foreign analogues, Ibyktysai gives a sense of discovery. There are no crowds of tourists and equipped trails - just you and a masterpiece of natural erosion, which makes each frame truly unique.
Traces of the ancient Tethys Ocean: The sleek, streamlined shapes of the walls are not fantasy, but geological memory. Walking along the canyon, you literally walk along the bottom of the ancient ocean, whose sediments over millions of years have turned into a soft stone, ready to take any form at the hand of the elements.
Paradise for photographer and artist: Fantastic textures, soft lines and the contrast of warm stone with rare patches of green moss create an endless array of perfect shots. This is a place where you can shoot for hours, finding new abstract compositions.
