Day of National Security Committee of Kazakhstan

KNBOn July 13, 1992, by the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan was formed. As KNB press secretary Kenzhebulat Beknazarov told Kazinform, from this day the countdown of the history of the Kazakh KNB begins.

The unified system of national security bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, departments and other structural subdivisions that are part of it, territorial bodies of the National Security Committee for regions, the city of republican significance and the capital of the Republic and city and district administrations (departments, departments), as well as military counterintelligence bodies, the Barlau service of the National Security Service of the National Security Service, special purpose units, research institutions and other organizations subordinate to them.

Educational institutions are the Academy of the National Security Committee in Almaty and the Military Institute of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the former border school, which trains specialists in various military specialties. Graduates of the KNB Academy receive the profession of a lawyer and operative with the obligatory study of foreign languages.
