Victory Day

Conscripts at the Memorial of GloryVery widely among the population of Kazakhstan, the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet people is celebrated. This day is a demonstration of the protection of the Motherland, the people from evil. In Kazakhstan, Victory Day is celebrated on two days on May 9 and 10.

On the eve of the celebration and throughout the month, charity events, various events are held to honor war veterans, including participants of the Great Patriotic War, workers of the rear front, disabled people and other equated to them.

We all come from the Soviet Union, and we are very close to this date. According to the work plan, various festive events dedicated to the memory of those who fell for freedom from fascism are held in all educational and cultural institutions. Events are held in the form of “round tables”, meetings with participants and fighters of the labor front, seminars, lessons of courage.

All veterans of the Great Patriotic War are provided with financial assistance, benefits on transport, in medical clinics and much more.
