Day of the Republican Guard of Kazakhstan

National Guard of Kazakhstan (stitching)The Republican Guard of Kazakhstan is a young but worthy competitor of the famous airborne troops or marines. Created by the presidential decree of March 16, 1992 as a separate military formation and reserve of the Armed Forces, the Republican Guard today is rightfully considered an elite unit, the best and most prestigious structure in the current army.

Guardsmen perform special tasks: ensuring the security of the Head of State and the highest authorities, participating in ceremonial rituals, carrying an honor guard at the standards of the state flag and coat of arms, protecting especially important state facilities, and in the event of a state of emergency are called upon to participate in activities established by the relevant law.

It is not for nothing called the hallmark of the country, because the guards perform very specific tasks. In addition to ensuring the security of the Head of State and the highest authorities, participation in ceremonial rituals, they carry an honor guard at the standards of the state flag and coat of arms, protect especially important state facilities, and in case of a state of emergency are called to participate in activities established by the relevant law.

All this predetermines increased requirements for military personnel. One desire and physical health for the service here will not be enough. Therefore, candidates for the Republican Guard begin to be selected long before the conscription begins. The dropouts are tough. Among the mandatory requirements are growth not below 178 centimeters (and even more in the ceremonial unit), secondary education and, of course, the absence of sins before the law. The conscript's family should be complete.

The servicemen of the guard of honor have four types of uniforms - clothes for all occasions. Designers had to work hard to create a form in which there are no frills national elements. For special occasions - the shape of the color of the sea wave. Officers at such events flaunt in white kittens. There are also combined arms front, everyday and field uniforms.

The technical support of the Guardsmen is also at the top, but they recognize the best Soviet-style weapons, therefore they keep only it. Inalienable details of the company of the guard of honor are the Simonov carbine of the 1943 model, a checker and a kortik. And as a conventional weapon - Kalashnikov assault rifle.
