In the late 50s, in the Chu-Ili mountains in the Tanbala gorge, rock paintings of an unknown civilization were discovered. The Tanbala Petroglyph Gallery is the greatest historical monument and is included in the UNESCO Heritage List. Four thousand cave paintings reflect the life and worldview of the ancient civilization.
