Water tower
Description:
The Water Tower was built in 1913 near the railway station in Kostanay. It was built together with the railway tracks, during the Soviet era it became a national landmark and a local monument.
This building somehow reminds of a tower in fairy tales in which princesses live together with evil dragons, witches, traps, etc. This structure consists of brick, stone, sand. Inside there is a round (screw) staircase, created and reconstructed during its construction. It has an area of 7 meters, the roof is covered with a beautiful green small dome.
You can get from the center of Kostanay by taxi, by car or even on foot.
