What to see in Pavlodar

Pavlodar is a city with a warm atmosphere and a lively history, where modernity is combined with the natural beauties of the surrounding area. Its uniqueness is manifested in the proximity of large industrial centers and amazing natural corners, where it is easy to get out for the weekend. Here you can feel the urban rhythm, the spaciousness of the steppes, and the freshness of the forests of the national park.

Manufactures and facilities

Inside and next to the city there are man-made landmarks that add cultural contrast to the natural scenery. These are embankments and squares for walks, museums and monuments that tell about the past of the region, as well as the tourist infrastructure of the Bayanaul massif: convenient trails, observation decks and recreation points created by man for a comfortable acquaintance with nature.

Natural attractions and places

The main natural gems of the district are the Bayanaul National Park and its iconic objects. Lake Jasybai with an area of about 2.5 km wide and a length of 3.6 km, with a depth of about 14 m, beckons clear water and picturesque beaches. The park combines four natural zones - forest, forest-steppe, steppe and meadow, there are about 460 species of plants. Near Jasybai there are unusual rocks: “Baba Yaga”, resembling a human silhouette, and the massive rock “Bulka”, which offers breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding area.
